Do You Know Bog Jazz? is the unruly child of Sliabh Luachra fiddle tradition and a youth spent playing electric guitar in biker bars. Recorded live at the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival in October 2024, it captures a raw, spirited performance from Eoin O’Sullivan and Shane Murphy.

Eoin O’Sullivan is known for his deep ties to the Sliabh Luachra tradition and a long-standing habit of going off-script. Shane Murphy, a long-trusted presence behind the kit in Cork, brings drive, groove, and a fearless sense of fun.

This isn’t quite jazz and it’s definitely not straight trad — it’s music that grew in the cracks, where instinct outruns genre.
